Train is FOR SALE

http://www.discoverlivesteam.com/discoverforsale/forsale/1_occhiuzzo/index.htm

I had this train “one-of-a-kind” train built by engineers. The cars are made of 3/16 angle iron, the rigs and wheels are heavy duty [the type used on baggage carts at the airport] the wheels are precision bearings, the tender or coal car is 1/4 inch angle iron with 8 Trojan batteries, the engine car is made of 1/4 steel and 1/8 steel, the wheels are the same. There are four 12 volt batteries for the Phoenix steam engine sound system plus the head light, side lights and the lights on the train. Some parts provided by Total-E Toys. The controller is from Alltrax and the drive system was and all the metal was fabricated by Preston Design Inc. The track is 132 ft long.  For extra fun there’s a fog machine for smoke. The train can be driven by remote control.  Also included are the cad drawings (sorry, not sold separately) used for construction and maintenance.

This “turn-key” train ran last season from Thanksgiving night to New Years night giving over 19,000 rides to people of all sizes.

IMG_1222[1]

After 13 wonderful years, I sadly have to say, that January 1, 2014 will be our last night. Thank you for all of your support, and I hope you will support us until our last day. The cost has become outrageous, and my health at 81 makes it harder to get things done without help. Thank you and God Bless you all!
The train, tracks, decorations and lights are all for sale.
Joel the Trainman.
